How To Add Pictures From Your Digital Camera To Stylebook
If you have an iPod Touch or if you just want high-quality images for your Stylebook closet, we recommend using a digital camera (see more photo tips here). Below are a series of steps to help you import your images from the camera to Stylebook.
How To Get Your Digital Camera Images From The Camera to iPhoto
- Plug your digital camera into your computer and import the images into iPhoto
- Create an iPhoto album for your clothing images (This keeps everything organized so they will be easier to find later.)
- Eject your camera and unplug it from the computer
- Plug your device (iPod Touch/iPhone) into the computer using it's white sync cord
- Open iTunes and select your phone in the left column
- Select "Photos" from the menu across the top of the iTunes screen
- In the "Albums" window check the album where you filed your closet images (Make sure all your other device photos are saved on your computer and all of your other sync settings are correct.)
- Press sync
- Eject the phone after the sync is complete
How To Get Your iPhoto Images Into Stylebook
- Open the Closet tab
- Select the folder and subcategory where you want to import the item (for example "Tops" is a folder and "T-Shirts" is a subcategory)
- Tap "+ item" on the upper right
- Tap "Choose Existing" in the pop-up menu (This will bring up your iPhoto albums that your synced with the device earlier)
- Tap the album with your clothing images
- Select the image you would like to add
- Use the background and manual erase to cut remove the background
You're all done! Your camera image is now in the closet!
