How To Photograph A Puffy Coat
Winter is just around the corner — if you're in New York, you know that you can't escape wearing a down jacket to keep warm while running around town. After the jump there are some simple tips that will help you photograph your puffy coat for your Stylebook closet.
- Arrange the coat while it's hanging up on a hanger. This will make it easy to give the coat some shape. (I have a waist length coat with a large pillow-like collar and if I lay it on the floor it looks like a blob, so this hanger trick is perfect. )
- Leave the coat on the hanger and carefully take it off the rack or hook.
- Lay the two down on your backdrop while being careful not disturb how it's arranged
- Wiggle the hanger out of the coat and it should be arranged just as if it was hanging up in the closet
- Straighten the sleeves
- Narrow the waist just a little
- Snap the photo and you're done!

Nice concept to take a photography. Hanging this coat on a hanger will allow you to click some snaps in a easy way. Even placing the coat on a bed and taking some clicks would look good too.
