Style Stats: Get The Most Out of Your Wardrobe

With a little insight into how you use the clothes in your closet, you can get a lot more out of your wardrobe. Stylebook 5.0's new Style Stats features provides statistics on how you use your clothes and outfits (The more you use the Stylebook calendar feature the more you'll find out about your wardrobe in Style Stats). Below are some tips on what you can do with the new features:

Your Closet
Use the Outfit Count in Looks Stats to find out how many outfits you've already made with your
current wardrobe. If it turns out that you own 500 pieces of clothes but you've only made 100 outfits, your wardrobe probably has a lot of untapped potential.

Clothes to Donate, Clothes to Take Out of Retirement
Check out "Not Used in Any Outfit" to see what closet items you have never styled in an outfit.
You may have some great pieces that are going unused - or it may be time for spring cleaning!

Find Fresh Ideas When You Don't Know What to Wear
"Not Recorded on Calendar" shows looks and clothing items that you've never scheduled. It's a good idea
to take a look at these lists when you're not sure what to wear. Now is the time to try out that cute outfit you made with the outfit editor when you were bored.

Discover Your Personal Style
See what outfits you wear most often. These are looks that you most likely feel really great in! Take a look and see if they have any common threads. You may learn something about your personal style that you didn't realize. Once you find a good thing, stick with it - or at least use it as a jumping off point the next time you get dressed or go shopping.

Size Matters
Record the size and brand of your favorite clothes in the Size Tracker feature. As you probably know, sizes can vary drastically between different retailers. If you keep a record of what fits you best you can eliminate guess work next time you go out shopping.

Get The Right Fit
One of the best ways to look great is to wear clothes that fit well. That may sound obvious but many people wear clothes that are too large. You don't have to toss your favorite item just because it's a little baggy around the waist or the straps are too long. Dig out items that you love but don't fit quite right and take them to your tailor. Before you go, use the "Ask Your Tailor" feature from Michael Duru Clothiers to ask questions about fit (inside the Style Expert section of Stylebook).

I love the new features! I do hope there will be a longer 'most worn' list soon, because I would love to know my '30 most worn list' :)
